Stefanie Brown Senior Vice President of Marketing Stefanie oversees CREA’s marketing strategic plans, and has since joining the team in 2008. She upholds the CREA brand, leading with a vision to ensure all brand standards are in alignment. Stefanie is passionate about the human element behind marketing, connecting with others and empowering all within the CREA sphere to become its brand ambassadors. Outside of work, Stefanie is fond of cookouts and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Krysten Schmidt VP, Marketing Communications Manager Krysten is responsible for all things content and design. Since coming to CREA in 2012, she manages all creative outlets, such as the website and social media, print and brand collateral, and research and analytics. Krysten is motivated and driven to uncover people’s needs and translate those ideas into tangible results. Beyond CREA walls, Krysten is a mom of three and enjoys exploring new places with her husband, Tony.

Kara Barentine Corporate Event Manager Kara guides employees and teams to create unforgettable, organized, and enjoyable events. Since joining CREA in 2023, she has infused a personal touch into every aspect of event planning, conference services, and client entertainment, aligning them with CREA’s mission, vision, and core values. Outside of CREA, Kara loves traveling and exploring new places with her husband and their two boys.

Annelise Edwards Digital Marketing Specialist Annelise assists the marketing team with all things digital marketing. Her day-to-day includes coordinating various aspects of internal and external digital marketing communication projects, creating and maintaining website and social media content and designing collateral materials. Additionally, she assists with generating and editing news stories and press releases. In her free time, Annelise enjoys spending time with her nieces, doing creative projects and trying new restaurants with friends.

Tim Fuson Marketing Coordinator Tim started at CREA in 2022 as a member of the administrative team managing the front desk, and has since moved to the marketing this year. Tim acts as an assistant to the marketing team with finalizing events, registrations for conferences, organizing new hires, and assisting wherever the team needs. Outside of CREA Tim enjoys camping, exploring new bars & restaurants, and watching horror movies with friends and his partner, Paul.
