Julyssa Lopez is the Deputy Music Editor at Rolling Stone, she oversees pop and Latin coverage. She’s written cover stories on Shakira, Bad Bunny, and Madonna and Maluma. Before joining Rolling Stone, she was a regular contributor at The Nation and Remezcla. Her work has also appeared in Vogue, GQ, Billboard, the Guardian, the Washington Post, among other publications. She’s the recipient of a 2024 Deadline Club award from the Society of Professional Journalists, a 2023 LA Press Club award, and a 2021 Lowell Thomas Award and LAMC Wonder Women of Latin Music.

LOREN MEDINA GUERRERA PR Loren Medina founded Guerrera PR, Marketing & Management after co-owning Digital Girl, a PR and digital marketing firm representing icons like Shakira, Maná, and Ricky Martin, as well as companies including AEG, Live Nation, and Sony Music. With over 24 years in the music industry, Loren has 16 years as a publicist and manager at Guerrera, plus experience as a Sony Music Latin product manager and independent label owner.
