M ary Alakhras and Zeyad Jibran's love story began on Instagram and quickly moved offline with a Canada Day first date that ended in fireworks—literally—and love at first sight. Fast forward four years, and they honored that unforgettable night by including fireworks in their wedding celebration. As for the proposal? Zeyad raised the bar with a private Valentine’s Day helicopter ride over Dubai’s skyline, complete with a surprise photo/video team to capture the moment. Their wedding was a breathtaking celebration, centred around an Italian Garden theme, meticulously brought to life by Zeyad’s mother, Lemis, the owner of Royal Orchid Florist. Mary wore a gown by Blanche Bridal, which she customized for different parts of the day. For the ceremony, she added pull-on sleeves, and for the reception, she switched to spaghetti straps, giving her look a subtle transformation without changing dresses. The dress was complemented by a Swarovski crystal-embellished veil and delicate floral accents. Zeyad wore a bespoke tuxedo, custom-designed with fine Italian fabrics, a unique Lamborghini inner lining, and Swarovski crystal buttons. Together, their looks reflected a balance of elegance and personalization, perfectly suited to their wedding’s luxurious theme.
