REFLECTIONS ON A CEREMONY The outdoor ceremony featured a mirrored aisle runner, chandeliers, and a stunning stage setup. The setting was enhanced with a harpist performance, custom bars, and catering for guests to enjoy.
J ennifer and Jeffrey’s love story began during the pandemic when a mutual friend introduced them. They first connected over FaceTime while Jeffrey was living in India. Eventually, he decided to move to Toronto to complete school and be closer to Jennifer. When they finally met in person, it didn’t take long for their connection to deepen. Two years later, Jeffrey proposed at Federick’s Restaurant, surrounded by close family. The moment was especially meaningful as Jennifer’s late father built the iconic Hakka chain, making the restaurant a cherished part of her family’s legacy. The wedding day began with a Chinese tea ceremony followed by an outdoor wedding ceremony, both held at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. The reception was held at Hazelton Manor with Wassal Seddiqi of Petals and Pearls providing event planning and design. Jennifer wore four stunning looks throughout her wedding day, each thoughtfully chosen for different moments of the celebration. During the tea ceremony, she wore a traditional dress from East Meets Dress, accessorized with Cartier earrings and Christian Louboutins. For the ceremony, she donned a custom Mira Zwillinger gown that combined the “Sonil” and “Jess” designs, paired with sparkling Bvlgari jewellery and crystal-encrusted Jimmy Choo heels.
