I challenge you to read the book of Colossians in its entirety every day for the next month. The book of Colossians is four chapters long, and you can easily read it in just a few minutes. I am going to take the challenge with you. I just went through and read it before I wrote this article, and though it is just four short chapters, there is so much deep and profound theol- ogy in it, you could spend a lifetime un- packing it.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ also demon- strates that He Himself is God, precisely because He has power over death. How- ever, we cannot answer if we have been raised with Christ until we first ask if we have been crucified with Him. The Apostle Paul says to the Galatians, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). To be crucified with Christ means we must die to self. One of the biggest decep- tions that we face in the world today is not political or cultural misinformation, it is a religious deception that teaches we can have salvation without surrender, salva- tion without repentance, and Christ as Savior, but not as Lord. The offense of the cross has been removed and so has the power of the cross when that kind of de- ception is proclaimed. Have you died to self, surrendered it all at the foot of the cross repenting of your sin and turned to Christ as your Lord and Savior? If so, you have been crucified with Christ! IF you have been crucified with Christ you have been RAISED with Christ and it is no longer you who lives but Christ who LIVES IN YOU! If that is true, your mind must be set on the things above. Is it? If not, there is time to change that today. Come to Christ, take the challenge, reject deceptions, and focus on His Word by shifting your mind away from the deceptions of this world and onto the things above.

I stated that the greatest question ever asked was asked two-thousand years ago by Pon- tius Pilate when he asked Jesus in John 18:38, “What is Truth?” I am going to double down and say that this is the most impor- tant question ever asked, and exactly the question we, as be- lievers, must ask right now. Just as my uncle Jim says, “Paper doesn’t refuse ink,” papers require both paper and ink to print the articles we bring to you and that costs money.
