Her career started with Calpine Natural Gas, then moving further north, closer to home, she spent 15 years in The Woodlands area working for Anadarko Petroleum and Newfield Exploration. In 2014, she finally took and passed the CDOA exam and hasn’t looked back. In between accruing 25 plus years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, she’s been busy both raising a family and dedicating extra time to professional organizations that benefit DOA’s, including HADOA and NADOA. Stephanie is currently employed with Steptoe & Johnson’s Land Administration group, assisting with any DOA tasks as needed for clients. Stephanie has served on the HADOA and NADOA Board of Directors and regularly volunteers time on the NADOA Institute Committee, in multiple capacities. Stephanie has a large range of skills for everything related to Land Administration. She is especially fond of serving on the NADOA Institute Committee and CDOA Committee, assisting CDOA’s and NADOA members to keep up with continuing education in the industry.

Stephan Spencer is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Physics as well as a graduate of the University of Missouri- Columbia with a Master’s Degree in
& Roads Organizational Development. She holds a BA in Psychology and a MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and a profes- sional HR certification. She is active in her community and serves on several non-profit boards and committees. She and her husband have two busy children, a beloved rescue dog, and a leopard gecko.
applied Mathematics. Following graduate school, Stephan began his career as a Title Landman at Chesapeake Energy working in many states including Pennsylvania and Ohio title. Stephan was moved to the Division Order department in 2013 working primarily in Pennsylvania Division Orders. While working in the Division Order Department, Stephan became very familiar with the accounting departments and marketing departments regarding the setup of decks and how that information is utilized throughout the marketing process. Also, while in Division Orders, Stephan earned his CDOA. Stephan was moved to the Land Administration data team and eventually the Land data team where he served as a data analyst focusing on data integrity, acquisitions and divestitures, and building stronger relationships with outside departments. In 2019, he moved into a role as a data scientist due to his knowledge of land and land administration data and how that data could be used for actionable intelligence throughout the company. In 2021, Stephan accepted a role at Land Information Services, which later became PakEnergy, where he has served as a Data Analyst responsible for data integrations, database development, and database administration in the company’s Land product line.
Shellie Mersiovsky Enverus
Shellie Mersiovsky is a self-proclaimed “oilfield brat”. She was raised running tools and pipe to rig sites with her dad who worked in the field for Schlumberger. She left Midland, TX after graduating High School to pursue her college degree in Psychology at Liberty University,
where she graduated in 2005. She entered the Oil and Gas industry in 2009, turning her natural talents for customer service into a career working with royalty owners through Enverus’ Owner Relations suite of services inclusive of EnergyLink, Owner Support (Call Center) and Print & Mail services. Her career has included assisting royalty owners over the phone, managing a team of agents supporting over 30 operators’ royalty owners and recently moved to a commercial role at Enverus where she helps operators identify lapses in efficiency and identify solutions accordingly. She is passionate about creating efficient solutions that solve everyday time management problems and inefficient processes allowing her clients the ability to focus their time and resources on higher level tasks. In her free time, she enjoys reading, embroidering and public speaking on her personal transformation through trauma. Shellie was recently married, and she resides in Tyler, TX with her husband Steven and their two children Emma and Jackson.
