PLEASE BRING THIS SALE BOOK WITH YOU TO THE SALE. EXPLANATION OF EPD CODES C ALVING EASE DIRECT (CED), is expressed as a difference in percentage of unassisted births, with a higher value indicating greater calving ease in first-calf heifers. It predicts the average difference in ease with which a sire’s calves will be born when he is bred to first-calf heifers. BIRTH WEIGHT EPD (BW), expressed in pounds, is a predictor of a sire’s ability to transmit birth weight to his progeny compared to that of other sires. a. Bulls with EPDs less than +2.0 are recommended for use on heifers. You may still have some calving difficulty, but as the value for EPD become lower, so should your calving difficulty due to birth weight become less. b. Bulls with EPDs between +2.0 and +4.0 can be used on heifers, but close supervision and management should be followed. c. Bulls with EPDs over +4.0 can safely be used on cows but are not recommended for use on heifers. WEANING WEIGHT EPD (WW), expressed in pounds, is a predictor of a sire’s ability to transmit weaning growth to his progeny compared to that of other sires. YEARLING WEIGHT EPD (YW), expressed in pounds, is a predictor of a sire’s ability to transmit yearling growth to his progeny compared to that of other sires. MATERNAL MILK EPD (MILK), is a predictor of a sire’s genetic merit for milk and mothering ability as expressed in his daughters compared to daughters of other sires. In other words, it is that part of a calf’s weaning weight attributed to milk and mother ability. SCROTAL CIRCUMFERENCE EPD (SC), expressed in centimeters, is a predictor of the difference in transmitting ability for scrotal size compared to that of other sires. DOCILITY (DOC), is expressed as a difference in yearling cattle temperament, with a higher value indicating more favorable docility. It predicts the average difference of progeny from a sire in comparison with another sire’s calves. In herds where temperament problems are not an issue, this expected difference would not be realized. CARCASS WEIGHT (CW), expressed in pounds, is a predictor of the differences in hot carcass weight of a sire’s progeny compared to progeny of other sires. MARBLING (MARB), is expressed as a fraction of the difference in USDA marbling score of a sire’s progeny compared to progeny of other sires. RIBEYE AREA (RE), expressed in square inches, is a predictor of the difference in ribeye area of a sire’s progeny compared to progeny of other sires. HEIFER PREGNANCY (HP), is a selection tool to increase the probability or chance of a sire’s daughters becoming pregnant as first–calf heifers during a normal breeding season. A higher EPD is more favorable. CALVING EASE MATERNAL (CEM), is expressed as a difference in percentage of unassisted births, with a higher value indicating greater calving ease in first-calf daughters. It predicts the average ease with which a sire’s daughters will calve as first-calf heifers when compared to daughters of other sires. PERFORMANCE CODES BW - Actual Birth Weight in Pounds. WR - Weaning Weight Ratio comparing all animals weaned in a contemporary group. 100 is average. YR - Yearling Weight Ratio comparing all animals in a contemporary group. 100 is average. NR - Nursing Ratio - weaning ratio average of the dam’s progeny. # - This symbol used with a pedigree means that particular animal is a Pathfinder and meets a certain set of strict standards set forth by the American Angus Association. The Pathfinder Angus program was started in 1978 in an effort to identify superior cows in the breed based on their records of performance from Angus Herd Improvement Records (AHIR). In identifying these superior cows, emphasis was placed on early puberty, breeding and early performance of the offspring. In addition, bulls that have sired a minimum of five or more Pathfinder Cows are listed as Pathfinder Sires in this report. EPDs contained in the hard copy of this sale book were current as of print date. Digital versions of this sale book can be viewed online at www.angus.org and will have EPDs updated every Friday with the exception of EPD references in footnotes and photos. Any PDF downloads from the website will contain EPDs current as of the date downloaded. References: American Angus Association®, AHIR®, AngusLink SM , CAB®, Pathfinder®.

FOOTNOTE EXPLANATION Reading the footnotes you will notice an overall theme of pointing out and denoting a value to measure competition among the sale animals. Those measures are in several forms as follows: 1. Ratios: A Ratio of 100 is average. A 105 Ratio is 105% of average and a 95 Ratio for example is 95% of average. Reference to an ADG Ratio compares the bulls for average daily gain for a period from Sept. 9, 2025 to Feb. 3, 2026 which is 147 Days. (See inside cover for more explanation.) 2. Rankings among the sale Bulls or Females: These rank- ings point out and compare the animals that Rank high for that EPD within their contemporary group. 3. Among the breed Ranking on a percentage (%) basis: A) The data base for comparing the sale bulls is called a Non-parent Bull group which includes all bulls on record in the Angus breed that are non-parent bulls (majority being Yearling Bulls). That database currently is over 160,000 animals. So for example: A bull that ranks among the Top 1% of the breed for an EPD is among the top 1,600 bulls across the entire breed for that trait. In other words he is better than 158,400 bulls for that EPD. B) The female database for our sale females is called a Non-parent Cow group. That database currently is over 120,000 animals within the Angus breed.

FEMALES: 1. All yearling females sell as open and ready to breed. 2. Fall calving females are safe in calf unless otherwise noted on sale day. 3. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the animal may be returned to the farm of the seller if in good condition and complying with the health requirements of the seller’s state. The seller shall be entitled to six months trial following the return of the animals in which to prove that the animal is a breeder. If at the end of six months the seller is unable to prove the animal is a breeder the seller shall, at the option of the buyer, replace the animal with another of equal value, or if the buyer prefers, credit toward one female will be given in the following year’s sale. 4. All claims for adjustment or refund on the females must be made by December 21, 2026. Mortality insurance on the cattle will be available at the settlement table on sale day. What is an EPD? The Expected Progeny Difference (EPD) is the increase or decrease in performance for a given trait that you can expect from the progeny of an animal compared to breed average. EPDs are expressed in pounds as a plus (+) or minus (-) figure. What makes EPDs so valuable? EPDs take into consideration the performance of the individual as well as the performance of relatives and progeny, and the with- in-herd ratios of contemporary progeny groups. They also factor out the management and environmental differences that may exist between herds. EPDs can accurately be used to compare bulls in different herds within the breed. It is important to select for EPD traits that match your operational goals. If you are looking for a bull to use on virgin heifers, birth weight EPD is a primary consideration. If you keep or sell replacement heif- ers, milk EPD is a major factor. If your calves are sold at weaning time with no replacement females retained, then weaning EPD is of vital importance. Those of you who background your calves should con- centrate on yearling weight EPD. Many times a balance in all traits is required, depending on your individual situation. It is important to understand that EPDs are accompanied by accura- cy values and may fluctuate up or down as accuracy increases.

GUARANTEE

In addition to the below stated guarantee, all cattle sell under the Suggested Sale Terms and Conditions of the American Angus Asso- ciation. BULLS: 1. All bulls selling are guaranteed to be breeders for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the animal may be returned to the farm/ranch of the seller if in good condition and complying with the health require - ments of the seller’s state. The seller shall be entitled to a 6 month trial following the return of the animal in which to prove that the animal is a breeder. If at the end of 6 months the seller is unable to prove that the animal is a breeder the seller shall, at the option of the buyer, replace the animal with another of equal value or refund the purchase price. The return of the full purchase price shall in any case be deemed full satisfaction and settlement. 2. This breeding guarantee on the bulls by the seller will apply with the exception of: (a) injury or disease occurring after the sale, (b) gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the buyer. 3. However, all bulls selling for $3,500 or more are guaranteed against breeding injury for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. Breeding injury is defined as injury to penis or preputial tear with inability to extend. If a replacement bull is available, he will be provided, or if the buyer prefers, credit toward one bull will be giv- en in the following year’s sale, less salvage value of the injured bull, less $10 per day the bull has been in use since first turnout. Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. Guarantee ends August 31, 2026.

PERFORMANCE DATA AS AN AID IN LIVESTOCK SELECTION...

calculated by Angus Herd Improvement Records (AHIR) and are current as of the date of this sale book printing. Scrotal measurements will be on the performance update sheet available sale day.

Molitor Angus is dedicated to providing honest and accurate performance data to their customers. All of the EPDs listed in this sale book are official American Angus Association EPDs

EPDs that traditionally contained all pedigree, performance and progeny information now also include results from available genomic, or DNA, tests. Breeders who use genomic technology give buyers access to AGI-generated GE-EPDs that provide: Increased predictability and decreased risk for young and unproven animals due to enhanced accuracy of EPDs. Better characterization of genetics for diffi - cult-to-measure performance traits such as carcass traits, maternal traits and feed efficiency. The ability to make more rapid progress for traits that are important to you, due to: · more accurate selection · easier identification of genetic outliers · the ability to propagate young animals with confidence earlier in their lives

In fact, GE-EPDs on unproven animals have the same amount of accuracy as if they had recorded 8-33 calves, depending on the trait. That’s valuable insight, offered through weekly evaluation at www.angus.org.

AMERICAN ANGUS ASSOCIATION $VALUE INDEXES

Maternal Weaned Calf Value ($M), an index expressed in dollars per head, predicts profitability differences in progeny due to genetics from conception to weaning. Increased selection pressure on $M aims to decrease overall mature cow size and improve foot structure and fertility while maintaining weaning weights consistent with today’s production. Weaned Calf Value ($W), an index expressed in dollars per head, provides the expected difference in future progeny preweaning performance from birth to weaning. Over time, increased selection pressure on $W will increase pre-weaning growth through additional weaning weight and maternal milk with expenses adjustment for mature size and maternal milk. Feedlot Value ($F), an index expressed in dollars per head, is the expected average difference in future progeny performance for postweaning merit compared to progeny of other sires. The underlying objective assumes commercial producers will retain ownership of cattle through the feedlot phase and sell fed cattle on a carcass weight basis with no considerations of premiums or discounts for quality and yield grade. Grid Value ($G), an index expressed in dollars per carcass, is the expected average difference in future progeny performance for carcass grid merit, including quality and yield grade attributes, compared to progeny of other sires. Beef Value ($B), an index expressed in dollars per carcass, facilitates simultaneous multi-trait genetic selection for feedlot and carcass merit. $B represents the expected average differences in the progeny postweaning performance and carcass value compared to progeny of other sires. This index assumes commercial producers wean all male and female progeny, retain ownership of these animals through the feedlot phase and market these animals on a quality-based carcass grid. Combined Value ($C), an index expressed in dollars per head, includes all traits that make up both $M and $B with the objective that commercial producers will replace 20% of their breeding females per year with replacement heifers retained within their own herd. The remaining cull heifer and steer progeny are then assumed to be sent to the feedlot where the producers retain ownership of those cattle and eventually sell them on a quality- based carcass merit grid. Cow Energy Value ($EN), expressed in dollar savings in cow per year, assesses differences in cow energy requirements as an expected dollar savings difference in daughters of sires. A larger value is more favorable when comparing 2 animals (more dollars saved on feed energy expenses). Mature Weight EPD (MW), expressed in pounds, is a predictor of the difference in mature weight of daughters of a sire compared to the daughters of sires. Mature Height EPD (MH) expressed in inches, is a predictor of the difference of mature height of a sires daughters compared to the daughters of other sires. Claw Set EPD (CLAW) is expressed in units of claw-set score, with a lower EPD being more favorable indicating a sire will produce progeny with a more ideal claw set. The ideal claw set is toes that are symmetrical, even and appropriately spaced. Foot Angle EPD (Angle) is expressed in units of foot-angle score, with a lower EPD being more favorable indicating a sire will produce progeny with more ideal foot-angle. The ideal is a 45 degree angle at the pastern joint with appropriate toe length and heel depth. Teat Size EPD (Teat), expressed in units of teat size score, with a higher EPD indicating a sire will produce daughters with smaller teat size compared to that of other sires’ daughters. Udder Suspension EPD (UDDR), expressed in units of udder suspension score, with a higher EPD indicating a sire will produce daughters with tighter udder suspension compared to that of other sires’ daughters. Functional Longevity EPD (FL), expressed in number of calves, is a predictor of the number of calves a sire’s daughters are predicted to produce by 6 years of age compared to that of other sires’ daughters. A higher EPD is the more favorable direction indicating more calves produced on average.

NATURAL SERVICE SIRES

The Molitor Natural Service Sires you see throughout this sale book positively compare in genetic strength to the AI sires we use and complementt those bloodlines. Remember that we have raised the calves that were born to these service sires to determine their future contribution to the herd genetics of 74 years here at the ranch. We travel many miles each year to evaluate over 1000 bulls on an “eyes on” basis and add 1 to 2 bulls a year to our operation. Many of the bulls we see are at the Midland Bull Test because those 500 to 700 animals come from elite registered Angus herds from 26 states and represent the newest genetics anywhere! Also, many of the Top AI Studs in the country are located in this region. Be confident that our efforts will make your life easier and improve your bottom line.

Although this Close Out is not on a large number of steers, if you combine the Close Outs of all the Molitor Steers fed in recent years the results are outstanding. Those three years of results show all 77 steers that were fed graded 100% Choice or Higher. No Selects. These actual feedlot results confirm our commitment to using genetics that increase our carcass trait qualities and still produce a great feeding outcome. We have resisted the idea of chasing extreme carcass trends that we feel produce cattle with less lower body mass and muscle, have ease of movement problems because of structure issues, and in some bloodlines, problems of fertility and docility. After a few highlight bulls sell, most of the bulls in this sale will be sold in sire groupings to provide the same quality bulls from the start of the sale to the finish. This will allow our customers who purchase bulls late in the sale an equal opportunity to bid on bulls of the same caliber as in the early portion of the sale, each time a new sire grouping starts. This also assists customers who are trying to select groups of brothers for a more uniform and consistent calf crop. To assist our customers planning their bidding and buying decisions, the sale order for each sire group will be available sale day as well as the order in which the sire groupings will sell.

• You have got to appreciate the long list of EPDs that this bull posts being in the Top 25% of the breed. Those important EPDs are YW, Scrotal, Docility, CEM, Milk, RE, $Wean, $Grid, and $Beef. Another bonus is that he ranks 1st for Teat scores and 2nd for Udder Quality among the sale bulls. ADG Ratio 105.

RETAINED INTEREST EXPLANATION

We will be retaining a revenue sharing interest in several bulls that sell. This means that you will receive full possession and salvage value in the bull. Our retained interest gives us the right to use the bull by AI and share in semen sales of the bull. Semen will be collected at your convenience and all fees associated with collection will be shared by interest owners. We feel that bulls you purchase from us and are later so-called discovered by the industry will be an economic windfall deserved by the bull owners. If we have not retained an interest in these bulls at the sale, we may be willing to buy back an interest in those bulls, on your terms.
