HIGHLIGHT PHOTO REEL “This team exemplifies the excellence we strive for at Snead State Community College,” Whitmore said. “Their success brings pride to our campus and our community, and it reflects the dedication of our students, coaches, and supporters.” The Snead State Community College men’s basketball team continues its strong 2025-26 campaign, earning a No. 12 ranking in the NJCAA Week 12 poll as the Parsons surge toward postseason play. Snead State holds a 20-6 overall record and a 9-4 conference mark, establishing itself as one of the top junior college programs in the nation. Head coach Jeremiah Patterson credits the team’s ranking to consistent effort and buy-in throughout the season. “This group has stayed focused on the process every single day,” Patterson said. “The ranking is nice, but it’s really a reflection of how hard these guys work in practice and how they compete for each other.” A balanced and efficient starting lineup has fueled Snead State’s success. Sophomore Ansar Osman leads the Parsons offensively averaging 18 points per game while shooting 50.9 percent from the field and 48.4 percent from three-point range. Sophomore Ray Rolley has contributed 13.6 points per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the floor. Freshman London Townsend averages 13.2 points per game while connecting on 56.7 percent of his shots and 45.5 percent from beyond the arc. Freshman Tristan Gilmore has been highly efficient inside, shooting 73.3 percent from the field and averaging 12.6 points per game. Freshman Dean Adkins has been another perimeter threat, averaging 12.2 and shooting 47.6 percent from long range. “Our team’s buy in and competitiveness has really been a strength for us,” Patterson said. “We’ve got guys who understand their roles and step up when their number is called, and that’s made a big difference in close games.” Athletic Director Casey Underwood praised the team’s performance and the leadership within the program. “What Coach Patterson and his staff have built with this group is special,” Underwood said. “They represent Snead State the right way—on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. Being nationally ranked is a testament to the culture they’ve created.” Snead State President Dr. Joe Whitmore also highlighted the broader impact of the team’s success.
