We’re thrilled to have you at the 23rd Annual Hazy Shade BYOP Doubles Tournament! Over the years, this event has grown into the full BYOP weekend we all look forward to, and 2025 is no exception. Scoring : We will be using UDisc for scoring for this event Access UDisc Scoring HERE

•Ensure you submit your score accurately and promptly after completing the round. •Incorrect scores may result in penalty strokes.

Player Communication and Payouts: •We will use the email address you provided during registration for player pack distribution and payout notifications. •Please double-check your email address to ensure it's accurate and up-to-date

If your partner isn’t present, you may begin your round without them. They may only join you at the start of a hole, and no extra throws will be given. Once the event begins, switching partners is not allowed for any reason.

Payout: Amateurs: Paid out in digital Hazy Shade gift cards. Event-weekend-only specials will be available in-store, so be sure to stop in before or after your round. Pro & Ace Fund: Paid via PayPal or check. Payments are processed as quickly as possible, but may take a few days if issues arise. Please ensure your PayPal info is current. Tax Forms: Players winning $600+ must submit an Ohio W9 form before the event if you expect to exceed this threshold.

Tournament Reminders: Courtesy First: Pedestrians always have the right of way. Be respectful and wait for them to pass. Leave No Trace: We're guests in these parks! Pack in all your trash and recyclables. Respect Your Fellow Players: Everyone paid to play. Be quiet while others throw and avoid walking in front of them. If another group is on a different hole but within sight, wait for their shot. Keep Up the Pace: It's a tee-time round! Groups start every 10 minutes, so maintain a good pace to avoid slowing down others. Disagreements? Take a Breath: If your group has a rule issue, try to resolve it using PDGA rules . If unresolved, don't hold up the course. Throw a provisional and discuss with the Tournament Director after the round. Lost and Found: Check our Facebook event page daily for lost items. Unclaimed items will go to the Hazy Shade store. Out of Bounds (OB): It's all about disc location! An OB line has no thickness. For your disc to be considered in- bounds, some part of the disc must lie completely inside the line of play. Remember, "surrounded by" means water or a solid surface completely encircles your disc (think disc on a rock in a creek, even if dry, it's OB if the rock is surrounded by water). Rain Delays: We play in rain, but lightning means immediate course evacuation! We'll post online delays if necessary. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early for your tee time, even if there's a delay. Tee Times & Your Round Heads Up: Tee times will be posted online the night before your round in the UDisc app. Double Check: Things can change! Recheck each morning to confirm your course and tee time. Be On Time: It’s your responsibility to be at the course and ready to go at your scheduled tee time. HERE

Player packs start with a gift card! We emailed it Friday morning to the address you used at sign-up. Stop by the shop and use it to build your own pack — with special deals and an awesome selection of double- and triple-stamped discs from all our BYOP manufacturers. Supplies are stacked but limited. You’ll also have a few extra items to pick up in person. Please note: any items not claimed within one week after the event will be forfeited. Shirt sizes are locked to the selection you made at registration. If you need a different size, please check with us after the weekend.

Amateur Payout $35 per player deduction for player pack. $33 per player or $66 per team will go to payout!

Pro Payout $136 paid per team plus $1,000 added cash. Cash is divided per player in all pro divisions

The Combine is open to Amateur BYOP players only. All cards must be entered on the Google Form and dropped in the collection box to be eligible. If your paper card is missing or your entry is incorrect, your score will not be counted. The top 5 scores will advance to the finals on Saturday night, You must be present to win. Combine Challenge – 2026 Test your skills against the field in driving, putting, and accuracy. The Top 5 scores will advance to Saturday’s finals, where they’ll battle for a spot on Team Hazy Shade for the 2026 season. Everyone who enters a Combine card will also be entered into a drawing for a basket and five base line putters of their choice!
