Permits for the collection of fallen timber on roadsides Now that the Fire Danger Season has passed we are issuing permits for the collection of fallen timber from roadsides. The permit is valid for 1 month and gives the holder time to collect wood for personal use. Permit fee is $5.00. The permit holder is not allowed to cut down any standing dead or live trees. The conditions are set out in a handout that you will be presented on receipt of payment at the Keith or Bordertown office.
