NativeKlean ™ herbi cide

TURF & ORNAMENTAL

OVERVIEW Naturalized areas are an increasingly common trend on golf courses. These areas of tall grass and native vegetation not only reduce inputs, but they enhance wildlife habitat. But these areas still require maintenance. To simplify native and naturalized area management , NativeKlean™ herbicide was specifically designed to be a low-maintenance solution. With application flexibility and long residual control, NativeKlean enables efficient use of limited resources while controlling high-anxiety herbaceous weeds, including Canada thistle, cocklebur, horsenettle, pigweed, plantain and ragweed.

Application flexibility NativeKlean™ herbicide offers a wide application window and can be applied in spring or fall. NativeKlean is rainfast within two hours and does not need supplemental irrigation. It has limited mobility in soil. Apply NativeKlean with equipment that ensures a coarse low-pressure spray, at the recommended rate of 2 pt./A once a year in the fall or spring. Do not apply more than 2.1 pt./A (34 fl. oz.) per year. NativeKlean can be tank-mixed with Turflon ® Ester Ultra specialty herbicide to increase the spectrum of control on woody species. It can also be tank-mixed with Dimension ® specialty herbicide for preemergence weed control of grassy weeds, including crabgrass. STEWARDSHIP GUIDELINES NativeKlean™ herbicide is labeled for use only in native areas or naturalized areas on golf courses that are not regularly mowed or maintained. NativeKlean can be used to treat broadleaf weeds up to water’s edge. Additional application guidelines include: • Do not apply this product on golf course fairways, roughs, greens or tee boxes; home lawns; athletic fields or similar areas. • Do not apply NativeKlean within a distance equal to the height of the tree or plant. • Do not apply around trees or desirable broadleaf vegetation (e.g., wildflowers). Applicators must maintain a buffer around trees to prevent root uptake. • Do not spray NativeKlean within 250 ft. of residential properties. • Do not use vegetation clippings treated with NativeKlean in composting; clippings treated must remain on-site. • Always read and follow label directions.

Systemic control of more than 100 broadleaf weeds

3+ months’ control

Long-lasting control NativeKlean™ herbicide has advanced, thorough chemistry — a combination of active ingredients aminopyralid and 2,4-D amine. Together, the active ingredients in NativeKlean provide residual control for more than three months on most herbaceous weed species. With the systemic mode of action and residual activity of NativeKlean, only one application is needed throughout the year to get season-long control of even the toughest weeds. Key weeds controlled NativeKlean™ herbicide offers effective, long-lasting control or suppression of more than 100 invasive and noxious weeds, including the key weeds pictured below.

Do not spray NativeKlean™ herbicide within a distance from the base of the tree that is equal to the height of the tree to prevent root uptake.
