Stop Fall Armyworms in their Tracks with Tetrino ® ! Fall armyworms are on the move across the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, wreaking havoc on turfgrass species they come in contact with including fescues, ryegrass, bluegrass and bentgrass. They are very common throughout the south and transition zone but fall armyworm moths are occasionally carried via air currents to the northern U.S. Fall armyworms damage turf by chewing plant tissue and are most active in early morning or late afternoon/early evening. Activity may continue well into September and it is possible to see an additional generation 3-4 weeks after initial activity.
Tetrino is Bayer’s new insecticide and contains the active ingredient, tetraniliprole (anthranilic diamide – IRAC Group 28). Use Tetrino on susceptible turf areas to control fall armyworms preventively as part of a complete insect control program, or curatively when fall armyworm outbreaks occur. Tetrino strengths include: Fast-acting – immediate feeding cessation upon ingestion
Systemic insecticide – absorbed via roots and shoots & translocated acropetally in the plant Outstanding spectrum of insect control beyond fall armyworm including white grubs, chinch bugs, etc. Affordable innovation – $50/Acre (16 fl oz/A)
