WAXIE offers several sanitary paper product and plastic trash liner options which can help your facility reach its sustainability goals. Hand towels, bath tissue, seat covers and facial tissue are available in options which have been certified by Green Seal, UL ECOLOGO and/or FSC, contain post-consumer recycled content which meet the EPA guidelines, or are derived from rapidly renewable resources. Hand towels and bath tissue are also available in controlled dispensing systems which help to reduce over-usage and waste. Plastic trash liners are available in options which contain post-consumer recycled resin which meets the EPA guidelines, or are certified compostable by BPI. Right-sizing trash liners to correctly fit the receptacle, and us- ing the smallest, thinnest liners which will do the job also help to reduce over-usage and waste. Products which have earned these certifications or have these attributes can help a project pursuing LEED ® certification, or a campus pursuing an AASHE STARS ® rating, or an organization pursuing CIMS-GB certification.
