In the case of the 2022 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach that can mean candy pinks and verdant greens—as in the color- ful balcony overlooking the pool—or the blue and white of sea and sky. Some influences will bubble up from the house itself: a 1920s Mediter- ranean Revival estate that reflects the vibrant Art Deco period when the place was built. So designers incorporated period elements like interlocking geometric patterns from ceiling details to tile patterns. And what could be more Art Deco some- thing that shines like the top of the Chrysler building—as do many of the Kohler fixtures sprinkled through- out?
