Transformer, light sensor and power outlet
The transformer controls the lighting using a light-sensitive sensor and if desired, a timer. The transformer is plugged into a standard GFCI outlet. The 12 volt cable is rolled out from the transformer and laid along where fixtures are to be placed. Want to split the cable to allow for lines to branch off in your yard? Use a cable connector (CC-2) to split up your cable plan quickly and easily. Important: When you split a cable, you still need to adhere to the maximum cable length between the transformer and the light. The cable can end at an arbitrary point and does not need to form a closed system. The end of the cable is finished off neatly with a cable cap.
