New Healing Arts Studio at Sumner Veterans Residence

The MACC opened a new healing arts studio at the American Legion Post 17 Sumner County Veterans Residence in Gallatin last year. Veterans participated nearly 360 in free workshops with the MACC’s healing arts facilitators. The new studio is part of the MACC’s Between the Lines Healing Arts Program. Papillon Gallery Makes its Debut The MACC’s commitment to local artists is the focus of its new Papillon Gallery. More than two dozen Middle Tennessee artists had their works on display last year. Papillon’s goal is to help Hendersonville and surrounding communities become more art-minded. First Dalí Exhibit Staged in Sumner County More than 4,000 visitors streamed through the MACC’s galleries to see Stairway to Heaven: Salvador Dalí’s The Divine Comedy . The exhibit, the first of its kind in Sumner County, featured 100 breathtaking engravings by the legendary 20th-century master.
