How VITALOK works The amount of water you need in an iCOOK pan depends on what you’re cooking and how long it takes to cook. Moist, quick-cooking vegetables like courgettes/zucchini will need very little water –75ml (1/3 cup) for two portions. Carrots, being denser, will need a little more –100ml (1/2 cup). Add the food and the water to the pan, put on the lid and place the pan on the heat. When the water boils, the lid will start to rattle. Now turn down the heat and give the lid a twist.
