The Solicitors Qualifying Examination ( SQE ) will be the new centralised assessment for anyone who wants to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales***. If you are an international student and want to study in the UK full-time for six months or longer, you will need a Student Route visa. PART OF OUR ONGOING DEDICATION TO GIVING STUDENTS EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY TO SUCCEED IS OUR SCHOLARSHIP AND BURSARY PROGRAMME. OUR SCHOLARSHIPS INCLUDE THE LORD BLUNKETT WIDENING ACCESS AWARD AND THE SADIQ KHAN AND SAYEEDA WARSI SET FOR SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIPS. Our awards are based on a combination of need and /or merit. You will need to have received an offer for one of our courses and meet the entry criteria as set out for each of our scholarships. For some of our scholarships, this may include having a household income of £25,000 or less, or meeting other criteria based on widening participation. Financial contributions are available across all our postgraduate courses, including some full-fee scholarships. We also have a work placement scheme. law.ac.uk/scholarships

FUNDING OPTIONS There are a range of funding options providing financial support and assistance to our students including access to apply to the Student Loans Company Postgraduate Loan when studying Master’s level programmes. Our flexible payment options can also help you pay for your postgraduate course. Where applicable, we can give you peace of mind by spreading out the tuition fee payments and arranging payments by direct debit. EVENTS During the course of the year we run specialist careers events aimed at supporting your career aspirations including our ‘Solicitor Series and Bar Series’. OPEN DAYS Each of our campuses hold a number of Open Days during the year for all of our courses, both online and in person. From talks, tasters and tours to meeting current students and staff, we believe our Open Days are a great way to find out all about our courses and how our campuses offer everything you’ll need to succeed. You can check out our facilities and soak up the atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. For those students unable to attend an Open Day at one of our campuses we also run Online Open Days where you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
