Editor’s Note: This month Housing News Report is introducing a new section called Big Data Sandbox where we will be featuring findings from big data analyses derived from the public record data and neighborhood data collected and licensed by RealtyTrac. This month we analyzed home values, price appreciation and property taxes for nearly 25 million single family homes and condos locat- ed near a Target or Walmart to determine the potential impact of these superstores on local housing markets.
