Our learnings over the past year have reaffirmed that sustainability is not a single destination, but an ongoing process of continual improvement, collaboration, and accountability. At the heart of Garland UK remains our core value of doing the right thing, for our people, for our customers, for our supply chain, and for the wider communities we serve. As a 100% employee-owned business, we take great pride in ensuring that every action we make contributes to building a stronger, more responsible business for the long term. This report reflects the continued dedication of our entire team. As we move forward into the next phase of our roadmap, we remain focused on transparency, science- based action, and delivering lasting, measurable impact across carbon, resource efficiency, and people.

As we publish Garland UK’s second annual Sustainability Report, I am proud to reflect on the significant progress we’ve made over the past year. 2023 served as the formal baseline year, giving us the first complete picture of our environmental impact and allowing us to set meaningful targets for the years ahead. Now, since 2024, we are starting to measure and compare our performance, using real data to inform our decisions and ensure we continue to move forward with purpose. Throughout this year, we have strengthened our internal processes, enhanced the accuracy of our emissions reporting, and expanded our supplier engagement.
