Dow To Sponsor Innovations Showcase at Pack Expo The Dow Chemical Company will return as the ex- clusive sponsor of The Showcase of Packaging Inno- vations at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2017, September 25-27, Las Vegas Convention Center. The Showcase will highlight the latest innovations and award-win- ning packaging designs from across the globe. PACK EXPO Las Vegas and the co-located Health- care Packaging EXPO 2017 will connect more than 2,000 suppliers of packaging equipment, materials, and automation technologies with 30,000 attendees from 40+ vertical markets.
Tresu Group, a manufacturer of high performance flexographic inline printing machines, will be ac- quired by Altor Fund IV. The Nordic Private Equity fund will acquire the company from the current ma- jority-owner Erhvervsinvest II K/S. The sale and pur- chase agreement was signed on May 11. The company is headquartered in Bjert, Denmark, with additional production and sales facilities in the United States, and sales and service offices in Ger- many, Italy, China and Japan. Tresu employs around 250 employees. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory requirements and approvals.
