DEAR STUDENTS, FAMILIES, AND GUESTS, Welcome to Central Washington University! The beginning of a new school year is one of my favorite times of the year. Our campuses return to life, bustling with students, faculty, and staff. Autumn brings warm days and cool nights, beautiful fall colors, and the excitement of NCAA games. Residence halls and dining facilities are buzzing with students—some experiencing college life for the first time. The excitement and energy in the air is invigorating. It is also when I have the privilege of welcoming you to our campus. I think you will quickly see that CWU is a very special place.
We are a university that welcomes students from all over the world and from all walks of life. Student success and engagement is the focus and measure of everything we do. We cherish our traditions, but also welcome new and fresh thinking. What inspires us is seeing our students grow and explore their unique talents and gifts. We help them do that with remarkable teaching and exciting learning opportunities that create an exceptional college experience. Thank you for your interest in CWU.
