SARAH SPURGEON GALLERY TOURS The Sarah Spurgeon Gallery maintains an active exhibition schedule featuring contemporary art exhibits for the campus community throughout the year. Visit Randall Hall to view A Yellow Rose Project, an exhibit by women photographers in response, reflection, or reaction to the ratification of the 19th amendment that legally guaranteed American women the right to vote. 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., drop-in style Location: Randall Hall TRANSFER CENTER TOURS The Transfer Center offers a “drop-in” style tour for prospective transfer students and their support networks. On the Ellensburg campus, about one third of the students are transfer students. Our lounge offers them a space to hang out in between classes, connect to other transfer students, charge phones or devices, microwave lunch or some popcorn, print documents, or just relax! Come visit us and say hello!
CAMPUS TOURS Join us for a 30-minute campus tour led by our knowledgeable Wildcat Ambassadors. Enjoy a stroll around our historic campus while learning several fun facts along the way. BROOKS LIBRARY TOUR Come learn more about CWU’s awesome library features! Their many services include research help with CWU Tutoring Services, flexible study spaces, print and electronic resources, and more! Be sure to check out the Family Study Space and the newly renovated Brooks Student Commons! Our friendly staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. 1:00 p.m. 1:30 p.m. 2:00 p.m. 2:30 p.m. (last tour) Self guided tours available outside of scheduled times FLIGHT TRAINING CENTER TOURS CWU has a stellar reputation for preparing students for industry demands with B.S. degrees in Aviation Management or Professional Pilot. Please join us for 30-minute briefings/tours at our Aviation Training Center located at 1101 E Bowers Rd., Ellensburg WA, 98926. (approximately 7 minutes from campus). 1:00 p.m. 1:30 p.m. 2:00 p.m. 2:30 p.m. (last briefing/tour) RESIDENCE HALLS TOURS Want to get an inside look at our wonderful accommodations? Housing will be offering tours through these residence halls at the following times only: 3:00 p.m. 3:20 p.m. 3:40 p.m. 4:00 p.m. (last tour) North-Northwest Campus Residence Halls Central and South Campus Residence Halls Dugmore and Wendell Hill Barto, Beck and Kamola Please meet at the east SURC patio at least 10 minutes before the tour start time. Our Housing staff will direct you to each tour. RECREATION CENTER TOURS Enjoy a tour of our well-equipped Recreation Center and learn about all its amenities. Tours will begin at the Recreation Center entrance located at the east end of the SURC. Be sure to stop by and check them out! Ask about Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals, too! Tour begins at 9:00 a.m., drop-in style and conclude by 4:00 p.m. Location: Recreation Center, front desk DIVERSITY AND EQUITY CENTER Visit the recently remodeled Diversity and Equity Center (DEC) for self-guided tours. Engage with staff to learn more about the services the DEC provides to successfully navigate being a student at Central specific to cultural and social justice events, along with educational engagement on topics like race, sexual orientation, and allyship.
