Renovation OSLAD Grant
This fall, the Park District is excited to begin the Main Park renovation project.
Thanks to the dedication of the Board and staff, we successfully secured a $600,000 OSLAD grant to help fund these exciting improvements. The renovation will include: • A new synthetic turf surface • An entirely renovated playground • An outdoor classroom for campers and educational programming • New pavement games • Outdoor games and game tables • And Forest Park’s first-ever putting green! The focus of this renovation is to expand recreational opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages while creating an inviting space for play, learning, and community gathering.
