As an extension of the Park District of Forest Park, West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA) provides year-round recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities of all ages and abilities. WSSRA offers a wide variety of programs, including:

Through participation in WSSRA programs, individuals build skills, develop friendships, increase self-confidence, explore new experiences, and most importantly—have fun! WSSRA also offers Lekotek, a family-based toy lending and play program designed to support children with disabilities and their families.
