PHYSICAL DISTANCING: To eliminate crowding, patients are asked to wait in their vehicle and their practitioners will call when they are ready for them. We have green social distancing markers to direct patients where to safely stand. Your practitioner will be there to greet you and guide you through the clinic. In addition, our Patient Care Specialists are safely distanced behind plexiglass guards. DISINFECTION & SANITIZATION: We have implemented high frequency cleaning protocols usingHealth Canada approvedcleaningproducts. All treatment rooms andcontact surfaces are sanitized before each visit. All sanitization procedures will be logged and tracked. MASKS: All clinicianswill bewearingmasks at all times while in the clinic. We are asking that patients arrive wearing their own homemade or medical mask. If patients arrive without amask, we have reusable clothmasks available for our cost of $5. HAND HYGIENE: We are asking patients to wash their hands in the washroom upon entry and before exit. We also have hand sanitizers available throughout the clinic.
COMPANIONS: Unless a patient requires a caregiver or is a guardian to a child under the age of 18 years old, we ask that patients attend their appointments alone. It may look a little different, but we promise that our commitment to exceptional patient care is still the same. We cannot wait to help you achieve your goals!! Here’s the list of things we are doing to protect your health and our staff: SCREENING: We are asking all patients and staff to self-screen before entry into the clinic. Upon entry, patients will be asked the screening questions again. Staff will complete a screening form every day before they begin working. Here are the screening questions: • Have you travelled outside of NS in the past 14 days? • Have you been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19? • Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19? • Do you have any one of the following symptoms? Fever (i.e. chills, sweats), Coughorworsening of a previous cough, Sore throat, Headache, Shortnessof breath,Muscleaches, Sneezing, Nasal Congestion/runny nose, Hoarse voice, Diarrhea, Unusual fatigue, Loss of sense of smell or taste, Red, purple or blueish lesions on the feet, toesor fingerswithout clear cause.
