BACKGROUND
Each year the City of Rowlett hosts fifteen events as part of its Downtown Event Series. These events are put on in large part, by sponsorships provided by local businesses and a portion of the hotel/motel tax levied on hotels and motels located in the City of Rowlett. In exchange for publicity for the business, the City of Rowlett Parks & Recreation Department uses all donations to produce the marketing and activities at each event listed below:
