As an organisation, here are some of the actions we have taken to reduce our carbon footprint and the amount of waste produced: • In 2022 we changed
recycled, recyclable, or both. • 62% saving on fuel usage in 2022 compared to 2019. • Our pallet wrap machine was upgraded to allow a 270% pre stretch on the film, meaning we use less, and the pallets are more stable in transit. • Since September 2023, all Havwoods’ HQ energy comes
miles annually. • 77% of company vehicles are now either hybrid or all electric. • All our pallets and cardboard packaging are now FSC and fully recyclable. • Even our warehouse operatives’ hi-vis coats are made out of recycled plastic!

Our transport works to the highest standard for safety, emissions and training. • We are currently trialling electric Moffett vehicles, working closely with the development of the machines. • We are working closely with Volvo trucks in the development of Electric commercial vehicles with a 26t being available in this year. • The 35-micron standard film was changed to a 15-micron Nano film, going from 20,679kg in film to 6,064kg saving 14,615kg CO2 impact. • All Havwoods packaging materials are now either
