Yee-haw! The next great golf resort in the United States is in a ranch town in Colorado with less than 500 people. A solo development by Sand Valley co-owner Michael Keiser, its first course opened this year for founder members and VIPs. It will open to the public in 2027. Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw got the first crack, and Coore says Rodeo Dunes is “without question” the most bold and brawny course yet from his firm, with a number of blind shots dictated by the abrupt chop dunes.
