Tool Time
If you’re like most of us, you’re thinking, my game is stuck in neutral again. Maybe that’s putting it mildly. At times like these we resort to desperate measures, like a swing overhaul, couples therapy with your regular betterball partner or a frantic search for a new driver. We advise something simpler: Find that wrench that came with your driver. Outside of your lucky ball marker, it’s the most important thing in your bag. Adjusting lie, loft, face angle and any movable weights isn’t window dressing. It can fundamentally change your tee shots. Our testing has shown as much as a 25-metre ball flight improvement from a few clubhead tweaks. By all means, work on your swing, but the fastest fix might be a twist of the wrist.
