It certainly has been hot, hot, hot! I hope you enjoyed the summer months and coped with the heat. As we approach autumn it’s time to pull out your jackets and hoodies as there is already a slight chill in the air. We decided that it was time to give the magazine a facelift and freshen it up. I do hope you enjoy the new design which we have worked hard on. Do drop me an email and let me know, as I always enjoy hearing from you. Voting is now over for the FTB Readers’ Awards 2026 so do watch out for the next issue (Dec/Jan) where we will be announcing the winners and highly commended. A very big thank you for voting – we had more votes this year than ever before so thank you again. If you are thinking of buying your first home in London I hope you find our feature on the top London boroughs to look at, of interest (pages 24-30) I always find it fascinating when I see the results of research like this and hopefully it will help when you start your search. We also have a bumper selection of hotspots highlighting different locations around the country which are all perfect for first time buyers to consider. They give a bird’s eye view of what these areas are like and if you are interested it would be worth taking a look and having a walk around to really get the feel of the area. I hope you enjoy this issue which is packed with information and if you are struggling to understand how it all works then I hope you will find the answers to your questions inside. Thank you again for voting...
