was the Student Union Building, funds for which were provided by the Associated Student Body. Over the years, it has housed the School's Post Office, Associated Student Body offices, Student Missionary uriion, aftd cofi- -~ ference rooms. Also, in 1967, the second story was added to the Science Building. In 1969, an addition was added to the west end of the Rose Memorial Library, more than doubling its total floor space. The following year Hart Hall, a women's dormitory, named in honor of Miss Margaret Hart, who served for many years as Dean of Women, was erected on the lower campus. Two years later, in 1972, the "Art Barn" was erected on the lower campus. This relat- ively small building was designed to house the equipment and to provide space for classes in ceramics. Feinberg Hall, located on the circle at the main entrance of the campus, and named in honor of Dr. Charles L. Feinberg, first Dean of the Seminary and a faculty member for many years, was erected in 1975. This two-story, multi-purpose building, containing 13,000 square feet, houses the Seminary Chapel and a number of large class rooms on the ground floor, and a number ' of class rooms and faculty offices in the full basement. Soon to follow these, in 1976, was Soubirou Hall, named in honor of Dr. Leonie Soubirou, who was head of the School of Missionary Medicine from its inception in 1945 until it was replaced by the Nursing Department, with Dr. Soubirou as the director. This building, containing 10,000 square feet, houses the entire Nursing Department facilities. Two buildings were erected in 1977: the Psychology Modular building located between the Science Building and the Dining Hall, housing the faculty and staff of the Rosemead School of Psychology; and, sigma Chi Hall, a three- story women's dormitory located on the north end of the campus containing 54, 000 square feet, making it the second largest _building on _the campus ..
