The program, well received by the KFAC audience, was the beg1nning~-;;£-~ -- Biola radio ministry eventually covering most of the United States and much of Canada and Mexico. In 1938, when the financial situation became so critical at Biola that the future of the School looked almost hopeless, Dr. Talbot took to the air to make a successful appeal to Biola's friends for $25,000.00.
