199 For health reasons, Dr. Anderson was forced to resign from the program. Then Dr. Lehman Strauss, a nationally known Bible Teacher, who had his own radio program, agreed to merge his program with the "Biola Hour," and be- . came its regular Bible Teacher. Eventually, several reasons beyond his con- trol, including Mrs. Strauss' health, necessitated Dr. Strauss' resigning. His successor, Dr. David Hocking, Pastor of Calvary Church of Santa Ana, is still the regular Bible Teacher on the program. Under the personal tutorship of Dr. Hockiing the outreach of the "Biola Hour" continues to grow. Today, the program is released over approximately fifty radio stations, reaching from Coast to Coast and into Southern Canada. In addition, Dr. Hocking has embarked on a schedule of visiting cities throughout A.rnerica where he meets and ministers to "Biola Hour' listeners. Through his radio and personal ministry he is becoming one of Biola's chief Ambassadors.
