NEWSWORTHY: COCO BAHAMA SEAPLANES
A n exciting partnership between The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort and seaplane operators Tropic Ocean Airways and COCO Bahama Seaplanes recently took flight to offer a glimpse into the future of luxury travel in the Bahamas out-islands. On July 12th, 2022, the 50th anniversary of Bahamian independence, these companies united to execute an exclusive trial run showcasing a seamless direct air-to-resort model.
The flight originated at Sheltair Aviation in Fort Lauderdale with passengers destined for Par - adise Island. After stopping to connect in Nassau, the COCO seaplane gracefully landed off- shore of the renowned Ocean Club resort. As the guests disembarked the aircraft’s pontoons, a vibrant Junkanoo band welcomed us to shore along with media, local government officials, and resort staff.
