FINE DINING: PINK SANDS RESORT

I t may be fair to say that we’ve all had a dream of living out our very own Eat, Pray, Love scenario and for this writer, more so focused on the eating my way through Italy. But between the witty lines of this soul-searching, love-finding, and for all things holy eat something (and everything) plotline, I’ve truly settled into the notion that the new ‘hiking a mountain excursion’ is now an ‘eat my way through every part of the world’ expedition.

Actively seeking new eats and retreats, I found myself at Pink Sands Resort.

Let’s start with the locale…

Hidden away in 20 acres of a tropical lush garden oasis, surrounded by sparkling pink sand beaches and glistening turquoise waters, on the intimate Harbour Island is the legendary Pink Sands Resort. Private winding palm-shaded paths meander their way through lush ram- bling gardens, leading to 31 luxurious cottages, villas and homes. Each one is characterized by a British Colonial, old Bahamas aesthetic with a coastal feel, first-class service and mod - ern amenities. All just steps from the famed island beaches. It’s easy to quickly feel at home, embraced by the culture of Harbour Island and the kindness of the Pink Sands Team, but I was still hungry for more (does this count as the ‘pray’ part? Please feed me!). Lucky for me and my appetite for adventure (or food. Let’s be honest, all the food.) I found that Pink Sands Resort is undergoing a reimagining of its culinary program and on-resort amenities.

So, shall we eat? Yes.
