The verdict is clear; we should not carelessly toss our aligners into the trash, but what should we do instead? We should make every effort to recycle them when we’re able to. Now, you might not be able to put them in your recycling bin at home, as most
recycling facilities are ill-equipped to handle aligners, which means they’ll likely end up in a landfill. That said, we are proud to participate in a recycling program and would be more than happy to take your used aligners off your hands. All you have to do is bring your used Invisalign trays to either of our offices and place them in the collection box. We can recycle your Invisalign clear aligners and the Invisalign aligner plastic bags. All we ask is that you rinse them out thoroughly before returning them to us to prevent odors.
