Dana Vines Dana Vines has 38 years of experience with Southern Company. Prior to joining Bulk Power Operations (BPO), she worked 16 years with Alabama Power Company and 7 years with Southern Company in Transmission Policy and Services. In 2005, Dana joined BPO and became a NERC RC Certified System Operator. She transferred to the BPO Training Department in 2008 and was named Operations Training Manager in December of 2019.
Edward Brinson Edward Brinson has 30 years working for the electrical utility industry: eight years with Florida Power and twenty-two years with Entergy. During this time, he has worked in both distribution and transmission. His job duties have included: distribution and transmission planning, distribution and transmission relay, distribution and transmission operations centers, transmission operation training, substation and transmission maintenance, and distribution design. He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida and holds his NERC Reliability Coordination certification.
