2020 Men's Spring & Summer 'A' Teams The Virginia State Golf Association Men's Regular 'A' team spring season for Northern Virginia will start in late March/ early April, and the Washington Metropolitan Golf Association Regular A-team summer season takes place in July. All matches played at scratch. For those with a handicap index of 3.8 or lower an A-team intra-squad match will be held on Sunday, 8 March at ARL. At the completion of the match, the team roster for Spring 2020 will be set. The Washington Metropolitan Golf Association Senior ‘A’ Team competition matches will begin in April and continue into the first part of May as needed. Division winners will proceed on to play single elimination quarter, semi-final, and final matches. We need the best senior golfers, age 55+, to represent ANCC. Selection criteria for the team matches will be based on the 1 April handicaps (which are expected to be current and accurate). All matches are played at scratch.
