PAYROLL PETS
Modern life is incredibly busy. Combining work and home life can be a balancing act, and recently, we’ve all been exposed to considerable uncertainty. Pets can really help our mental wellbeing and help us find some solace and stability in difficult times. We asked you, the payroll professionals, to show us your pets.
Here are just a few of your wonderful furry and feathered friends...
Name: Stanley Sent by: Amanda Pitt, payroll manager, BRB “Here is Stanley, my ten-month-old English Bull Terrier casually enjoying the sunshine. After a stressful payroll day, a good love and play is all you need to forget the last eight hours.” Name: Margo Sent by: Kelly Blake MCIPPdip, head of payroll and pensions shared services, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust “Here’s Margo, having a day at doggy daycare on my in-office day. Safe to say, she clearly has a lot of fun there too. I wonder if she keeps them on their toes as much as she does me when working from home.”
Name: Mandy Sent by: Katie Linstead, senior manager, product management, IRIS Software Group “This is Mandy. Of our two cats, she’s the one who takes it upon herself to ensure I look away from my screen a few times a day and stretch my legs every so often, by giving my very important tasks like cuddling her and throwing her mouse toys for her to catch.”
Name: Cadbury Sent by: : Gillian Bland
MCIPPdip, director, Eden Payroll Solutions Limited “This is Cadbury, my Ragdoll cat, training to be my payroll apprentice!”
If you’ve submitted your payroll pet to us and they’re not included, you’ll see them in a future issue of Professional .
