A VISION BIGGER THAN MYSELF
The Evolution of My March to a Million
When I started the journey, I thought that providing information that could help individuals make informed decisions about their finances could be counted as positive impact. While sharing resources is great, information does not necessarily lead to impact. For impact to occur, a person must act on that information.
network with others, and bridge the gap between professionals and consumers.
But the evolution doesn’t stop there! As I look at how society and the economy are transforming, I sense a major shift that could potentially devastate the lives and financial futures of many families. Families could lose a tremendous amount of their wealth due to

“Every year, I reflect on the roadblocks I’ve overcome and my accomplishments — and boy, what a journey it’s been!”
On Sept. 30, I will be turning 58 years old. As I make another trip around the sun, I’m reminded that I’m one more year into my March to a Million. I’m one year closer to my goal of impacting one million people (and families) before Sept. 30, 2030. Every year, I reflect on the roadblocks I’ve overcome and my accomplishments — and boy, what a journey it’s been! If I want to be able to impact the lives of millions, I first need to ensure my health is in order. After all, you can’t take care of others if you don’t take care of yourself first! This year, I was on a mission to better my health so I could continue serving others. So, I began counting my calories, practicing intermittent fasting, and walked my dog any chance I could. By changing my habits, I lost 25 pounds, and I feel better than ever, and am ready for the challenge! But changing my lifestyle wasn’t the only adjustment I made. My vision of impacting one million people by 2030 has also undergone some significant alterations. When I first started my mission, I was a tad arrogant, if I’m being honest. I thought I could impact one million lives on my own.
understood my vision and joined the crusade of impacting millions of lives. Then, this
wiped out if it can be avoided. So, the
scope of my March to a Million has changed — myself, my team, and my team of dozens of experts worldwide are now on a mission not only to positively impact the lives of a million families but to literally save Billions of dollars. Having the ability to expand my horizons and find ways to better my efforts and provide the best service possible to others has been such an amazing experience. I believe this is my calling, and I will do anything it takes to help those I care for. Who knows, maybe the March to a Million will branch into a March to 10 Million!
past year, I decided to branch out my mission to other attorneys giving them the benefit of my years of experience and expertise though the Wealth Solutions Network (WSN). As I’ve been more exposed to providers of investing, tax, legal, and insurance products, I’ve observed a considerable, and growing, gap between professionals and consumers. I believe that properly trained attorneys can help close that gap, that is the mission of WSN. Attorneys didn’t have a platform that provides the guidance they desperately need on these topics. But that all changed with WSN and my March to a Million podcast. Now, other attorneys can learn from myself and other experts and gain insight into strategies they need help their clients act to preserve their life savings. My goal with the March to a Million podcast is to continue impacting people’s lives,

EMILY LEITER, PARALEGAL STAFF SPOTLIGHT:
needs to be done, I could be doing paperwork for a litigation case or preparing documents for an estate plan. I am also the point of contact for anyone opening an estate administration or guardianship case. What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is the variety of activities I get to do and the skills I get to learn and practice. No probate litigation case is the same, nor is an estate plan. I really enjoy working on both sides of the
firm because it gives me different types of paperwork to do, and I get to learn different aspects of the law. I also really enjoy problem-solving, and this job allows me to do that. What would you say to someone hesitant about estate planning? If anyone is thinking about estate planning and wants to prepare for their future, I think the best thing for them to do is to call a trusted estate planning attorney to get some more information and resources. A consultation with an attorney can be very helpful in creating a plan that best fits their needs and goals.
How long have you been working at the law firm, and how has your role evolved since then? I started working at DuPont and Blumenstiel as an intern in the summer of 2021, as part of Columbus States’ paralegal program. Last August I finished the program and was fortunate enough to be added to the team as an official paid employee. My typical workday fluctuates between the probate litigation side of things and the estate planning side of things. Depending on what

Because of this, it’s essential to consider these expenses in advance and ensure you have enough money saved to cover these costs or have an insurance policy to help you pay for them. We understand how stressful this can be for you. Luckily, you don’t have to do it alone! Keep Yourself Safe While Traveling Alone Traveling alone can be a memorable and adventurous experience — it’s a great way to step outside your comfort zone and continue learning about yourself. While solo travel is chock-full of exciting perks, staying alone in a hotel can be dangerous if you aren’t careful to take certain safety precautions. The next time you take a trip by yourself, keep these tips in mind! in the shower, or under the bed and that nothing appears to be amiss. It’s always best to be safe rather than sorry! Traveling solo is a thrilling experience, but it comes with some extra steps to stay safe! Trust your instincts and use these tips to ensure your trip goes down in the memory books as safe and exciting!
KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED. Any time you leave your room, even if it’s just to scope out the vending machines, be alert for anyone watching or following you, and always keep your room number discreet. If you ever feel like someone is following you, get off on a different floor and avoid going to your room. USE THE DEADBOLT. If the door in your room comes equipped with a deadbolt, use it! This extra safety measure keeps even those with a key from entering your room without your knowing! SHARE THE HOTEL INFORMATION. Let your family and friends know where you are staying! Provide them with the hotel name, address, and phone number in case an emergency arises!
CHECK IN THE SMART WAY. When you check in to your hotel, always ask for two room keys — this way, hotel staff and anyone else in earshot will automatically assume someone else is traveling with you. If they ask how many guests will be staying with you, don’t admit you are alone. If you have the option, request a room that isn’t on the ground floor, as research shows they are the easiest to break into! INSPECT YOUR ROOM. As soon as you enter the room, make a quick sweep to ensure no one is present in closets,
