GUARANTEE The cattle are guaranteed to be fertile and reproductively sound. All bulls selling come with a first-year breeding season guarantee against injury or infertility issues. “Breeding season” is defined by the time of turnout to 60 days later. All bulls passed a semen evaluation on February 9. It is recommended to reevaluate semen prior to pasture turnout to ensure that no injury has occurred. The guarantee applies to a second passing semen evaluation prior to the first breeding season. If any fertility problems happen during the first breeding season, a replacement bull will be available until the purchased bull’s long-term fertility can be determined. If a bull sustains a breeding injury during the first breeding season, a credit on a future bull purchase will be given. If a bull sustains an injury or fertility issue, we ask that it is evaluated and treated immediately by a veterinarian and a report is provided by the veterinarian doing the evaluation. If the vet determines the bull is no longer a fertile and mobile breeder, the following formula will be used to determine credit issued on a future purchase: Purchase price – salvage value - $2,000 (if injury related) = credit. INSURANCE Insurance available sale day through Martin-Trudeau Insurance. DELIVERY All bulls are semen checked and ready to take home sale day. Haul your bull home sale day and receive a $100/lot discount. Delivery will begin the day after the sale. Bulls will be delivered free of charge within a 600 miles radius of Kist Livestock and at cost after that. FEMALES Females must be picked up within 3 days of the sale unless prior arrangements have been made.
