ProLabs develops high density CWDM transceivers
The increasing requirement for new services to be deployed in a prompt, flexible and cost eective manner has driven the need for a new approach in fibre optic services and compatible optical networking solutions provider, ProLabs, provide an extensive range of high- quality products including optical and copper transceivers, direct attach cables (DAC), active optical cables (AOC) and media converters. The company’s high density CWDM transceivers oer the capability to eectually double circuit capacity over existing CWDM infrastructure, reducing time and expense. Network operators can gain the benefits of overlaying new services on existing fibre optic networks without the capital
Anritsu has introduced a 100G Multirate Module for its Network Master Pro MT1000A all-in-one tester that supports interface rates from 10 Mbps to 100 Gbps, and technologies including Ethernet, Optical Transport Networks (OTN), SDH/SONET, Fibre Channel, and CPRI/OBSAI. With the 100G Multirate Module installed, the Network Master Pro MT1000A supports more interface standards than any other handheld transport tester on the market. The all-in-one tester meets requirements for CFP4/QSFP28 (100GbE/OTU4), QSFP+ (40GbE/OTU3), SFP28 (25GbE), SFP+/ SFP (GbE-10GbE/OTU1-OTU2/STM1-64/ OC3-192/1GFC-16GFC/CPRI1-8/OBSAI1x- 8x), and RJ45 (10 Mbps-1 Gbps). Its flexible design provides single- and dual-port configurations with field upgradability across testing technologies to provide a simple upgrade path, when necessary, for a future- proof investment. Anritsu will be exhibiting at NGON 2017. Stand number B17. Anritsu enhances field-portable Network Master Pro with 100G CFP4, QSFP28, SFP28 support with a 13nm window and 20nm spacing. However, ProLabs HD CWDM transceiver is capable of fitting two distinct frequencies within this 13nm window. Eectively, this doubles the amount of trac users can send through each channel, whilst still being compatible with ytheir existing CWDM infrastructure such as multiplexers and fibre. ProLabs is exhibiting at NGON 2017. Stand B3. combines a standard CWDM transmit and receive pair on to the pass band of a single CWDM wavelength, allowing up to 32 circuits over a standard CWDM solution. Additionally, the High Density CWDM is rated for industrial temperature applications, ensuring performance outside of controlled environments. Traditional CWDM use two channels

Diamond announces fibre optic connector range for demanding applications
Diamond have announced the development of three new harsh
mechanical and colour coding, on request. The termini are protected from dust and water using a unique automatic protection shutter on the plug connector and a manual shutter on the bulkhead receptacle. Connectors are available for MM, SM (PC/APC), small-core single mode fibre, polarisation-maintaining (PM) fibre and other specialty fibre types. Also available are electrical contacts (20 AWG) for hybrid E/O applications. Diamond is exhibiting at AngaCom 2017. Hall 8, stand S40.
environment connectors, the HE-2000, MIL-38999 DM and the MIL-83526 DM. These customisable indoor/outdoor connectors are built around the Diamond Multipurpose (DM) insert and incorporate four terminal points that use two- component ferrules and are assembled with the company’s Active Core Alignment (A.C.A) process. The Diamond Multipurpose (DM) insert oers precise and repeatable pre-alignment, with interacting, space saving pre-aligned hollow guide pins and resilient alignment sleeves which can be individually removed for easy cleaning. All elements are protected from external influences. The product boasts easy ferrule front- face access for cleaning and inspection, simple termini insertion and removal for field termination and repair. The splice-on termini can be field terminated using Diamond’s ZEUS D50 HE fusion splicer, providing in-service repairs and special installations. In addition to the MIL-38999 DM and MIL-83526 DM, the HE-2000 oers a push- pull mechanism for easy mating and handling, plus
