Learning Blade: Empowering Students to see their future in Computer Science Careers

In this session, participants will learn how to use the fully funded Learning Blade system and explore its many classroom applications. Learning Blade is a system of interactive online lessons, teacher lesson plans, and Intro to Coding course aligned to 5th-9th grade standards. Students learn about high-demand STEM, CTE and Computer Science careers while applying academics to real-world scenarios. This fall, we're launching a new AI short course that delves into the background and ethical use of AI. This course promises to enrich any classroom environment and set the tone for AI practices. Students have access to over 400 online lessons in the twelve human- centered "Missions" to explore exciting careers and technologies aligned to state standards. Teachers also have access to dozens of lesson plans that support innovative project-based learning and classroom activities using common materials.
