This session will provide an in-depth review of the current FLDOE computer science certification content. Throughout this session, participants will see a variety of key concepts that they should know in order to pass the exam. The goal with the CS certification boot camp is ultimately to help participants pass the exam.

Lemon Battery
Sessions: Wednesday 3A
In this lesson session participants take on the roles of electrical engineers, chemical engineers, battery scientists and mechanical engineers. They work together collaboratively to build a battery from a lemon, alligator clip wires, and an LED. Once the battery has been completed, they use the steps of an engineering design process to design and construct a switch for their battery system.
