3-D Pens

Sessions: Thursday 2F Friday 4A

When people think of 3D printing, they often envision large, expensive machines used in factories or labs. However, there's a more accessible technology for creating 3D objects: 3D pens. They enable users to create three-dimensional objects by hand, without the need for a computer or specialized software, allowing for real-time creation.

Monkeying around with Makey Makey

Sessions: Friday 4B/C

Have you ever played a piano by using only bananas? If not, then join me as we look into the world of Makey Makey. You ask, “What is a Makey Makey?” A Makey Makey is a circuit board that encourages students to find creative ways to interact with computers by using everyday objects to replace keyboards and mouse on computers. In this session, you will learn how to make a banana piano and other fun activities that you can bring back to your classroom to use.
