A Huge Role Sustainability also continues to play a huge role for end users seeking to boost efficiency and profitability. Still, priorities are shifting as these companies strive to balance environmental goals with cost and operational realities. At the same time, tariffs and changing U.S. policies are causing market volatility, making planning difficult. “End-user customers are also increasingly challenged by high SKU counts, innovative packaging formats, and the need to minimize downtime,” stated Jorge Izquierdo, vice president, market development, PMMI. AVT Cuts Spare Parts Prices In one of its first moves since becoming a stand-alone business under new ownership, AVT (Advanced Vision Technology) is reducing spare parts prices for its print in- spection solutions. The move comes in direct response to the voice of its customers and to help address the AVT community need across the label and flexible packaging industries. The move had been enabled by AVT separating from Esko earlier this year and re-establishing itself as a stand- alone company, said Roy Porat, CEO of AVT. ‘ INX Recognized As ‘Great Place to Work’ In a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work organi- zation, INX International Ink Co.has earned recertification after employee satisfaction ratings reached an all-time high in the past three years. Vibrant Workplace With 78 percent of employees confirming INX has a vibrant workplace culture, it represents a seven point in- crease from last year and far exceeds the 57 percent aver- age of typical U.S. companies. Eighty-six percent of the employees who responded agreed they have the resources and equipment to do their job and can take time off when needed. Seventy two percent acknowledged feeling good about the ways INX contributes to the community, which is a nine point increase compared to last year.
