Labelink Acquires l’Empreinte, Expands Into New Print Markets Labelink, a label and packaging manufacturer with nine plants in Canada and the United Stated, has acquired l’Empreinte, reportedly one of the largest privately-owned printing companies in the province of Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1986 and based in Laval, l’Empreinte em- ploys 110 people. This acquisition is the 15th in 21 years for Labelink. Cosmo Films Launches CSP Dualcoat Cosmo Films, provider of specialty films for packaging, laminating, and labeling, has introduced CSP Dualcoat from its Cosmo Synthetic Paper portfolio, said to deliver performance across printing technologies such as offset, flexographic, thermal transfer, HP Indigo, screen, and let- terpress. Cosmo Synthetic Paper is a co-extruded, white opaque polypropylene film that mimics paper’s look.
