PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT’S 2024 PROMOTIONS! Frank rejoined CREA’s fund management team in February after a brief stint away. Originally hired in August of 2018, he has nearly 16 years of LIHTC experience in various audit, tax, fund management and risk management roles while previously at a public accounting firm and two other syndicators. Originally from Florida, he now resides in upstate South Carolina with his wife and six-year-old twins. Frank is a tenderloin sandwich connoisseur and was voted Best Mustache at CREA three years running and is back to reclaim the title in 2024.
Andrew is a recent graduate of Indiana University Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI) with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate. There, he served as the president of the Real Estate Workshop, participating in multiple case competitions - one of which focused on LIHTC development. This, combined with interning for a LIHTC developer, grew his knowledge of the industry and led him to CREA. Andrew enjoys staying busy by going to sporting events and concerts, as well as spending time with his girlfriend.

Tesfalem Chatot is a Vermont native who thrives in the outdoors and treasures moments with family and friends. His journey into affordable housing began in San Antonio, where he witnessed the impact of redlining while working in underserved schools. After reading Richard Rothstein’s eye- opening book, “The Color of Law,” he committed himself to the cause. Since 2019, Tesfalem has been diving headfirst into affordable housing initiatives, working in both permanent lending and syndications.
