Samatha S. Searls ’12 , program director at Ignite Peace in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been honored as one of the 2023 Women of the Year by the Cincinnati Enquirer. She leads immigration justice work and facilitates nonviolence and anti-racism educational programming at the organization. Casey M. Gillin ’10 is the new offensive coordinator at Mooresville High School in Mooresville, Indiana, where his father, William, is the head coach. Scott H. Sell ’10 , director of business development at Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy in Washington, Indiana, has been inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who biographical registry.
Dr. Julie Pelletier ’01 ’03 ANGLES-UP started Only Goodness, LLC, a small business that sells the Therabear, a multi-sensory, lightly weighted, therapeutic emotional support bear.

Loren Strickland ’21 has been signed as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. Tyrah E. “Koukouy” Chery ’20 has been hired as the new reference librarian and special collections archivist at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Suzanne O’Neal ’20 received the 2023 University of South Florida School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences Alumni Award for Outstanding Research.
Pamela Guerrero ’19 was selected by the Environmental Resilience Institute as one of the twelve Hoosier Resilience Heroes for 2024. Erin Gahimer ’15 graduated with her Doctorate in Global Studies in Education from the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign’s College of Education after conducting fellowship-funded, qualitative work in Argentina. Ethan Bean ’14 was appointed to serve on the Advisory Committee of Archaeology by the Senate of Maryland. Emilee J. Smith ’12 ’13 has been promoted to partner at London Witte LLP in Indianapolis. Christina “Christy” Michel ’12 graduated with her Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
